Basic Primary Education in Irete, a semi-urban community in Owerri West LGA of Imo State, is undergoing a major transformation through the Irete Community Development Union (ICDU) efforts. Led by President General Chidume Uzozie (KSM), the Union has launched N50 Million initiative to revamp Irete Community Primary School, aiming to improve infrastructure, learning conditions, and student experiences. This milestone in Irete Community Development is backed by influential figures like Rev. Father Uchenna Njoku, Mr. Philian Duru, and Aunty Vicky Ogbuehi, who contributed N12 million to fully renovate Block “A”. The plan includes classroom upgrades, toilet and office renovations, furniture supply, and sports field development. Spearheading community engagement and media coverage is the Social/Publicity Secretary and Image Maker, Mr. Duru Sunny George (DSG). This bold move reflects a deep commitment to enhancing Imo State Education and sets a compelling example for grassroots transformation.
